These systems can control stormwater at the source, reduce runoff and improve water quality by filtering pollutants in the substrata layers which are detrimental to our waterways.

SUD's Seminar
With interest in Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS) applications for urban development growing, the NZ Concrete Masonry Association (NZCMA) and Concrete NZ recently held two seminars that brought together expertise from the UK, Canada and New Zealand.
The October 2017 seminar, held in Auckland and Christchurch, covered the disciplines of landscape architecture, urban and environmental planning and the engineering design and construction of the drainage system.
